The Flamingo Club, a stylish daytime lounge known for its vibrant poolside ambiance and craft cocktails, approached us with an exciting opportunity to transform the space with a mural that would elevate the atmosphere and reflect the laid-back yet sophisticated vibe of the lounge. They wanted a mural in their main dining area that would capture the essence of relaxation, tropical luxury, and modern design—while blending seamlessly with the lounge’s bold color palette and contemporary décor. The mural needed to feel both playful and refined, evoking a sense of escape while inviting guests to linger over drinks and shareable bites. We designed a mural that featured an abstract tropical scene with palm fronds, flamingos, and soft geometric patterns, all brought to life in a mix of pastel shades and metallic accents. The concept also incorporated the lounge's logo subtly woven into the design, so it felt like a natural extension of the brand.

One of the key challenges was ensuring the mural worked within the poolside lounge’s open-air, sunny environment. The mural would be exposed to direct sunlight, so we needed to ensure the colors stayed vibrant without fading. We worked with a premium, UV-resistant paint that was specifically designed to withstand sun exposure and high humidity. Additionally, the wall texture posed a challenge—while the surface was smooth, the materials used in the lounge’s design had slight variations that could affect paint adhesion. To solve this, we used a special primer to ensure the mural would adhere flawlessly and last long-term, even with the occasional splash from the pool. The installation was completed in just a few days, and the mural became an instant focal point, adding a touch of playful elegance to the lounge. Guests now have the perfect backdrop for their Instagram photos, and the mural has elevated the overall experience, helping The Flamingo Club become a must-visit destination for daytime cocktails and bites.
