HRI Properties: Blue Plate Artist Lofts
HRI Properties wanted to strengthen the sense of community at Blue Plate Lofts, an apartment complex for artists and creative professionals, by adding a meaningful design element in a small space. The main challenge was projecting the design using a projector, which didn’t work well due to the limitations of the space. To solve this, Jennifer used the traditional grid method to transfer the design onto the wall, ensuring the mural would fit perfectly and match the intended layout.
The mural quickly became a defining feature of the building, helping to foster a sense of pride and connection among residents. Both residents and visitors appreciated the mural, which added a unique touch to the community. It also helped elevate the property’s marketing materials, improving its visual appeal for listings and attracting potential tenants. Overall, the mural successfully reinforced the building’s creative identity and contributed to its reputation within the local arts scene.
